IT Technician


Our client’s hotel aims to attract an entirely different kind of customer base and compete against both global and regional competitors at giving refined comfort and timeless elegance. As such, they have positioned themselves differently with a focus on local business people and residents – young and upwardly mobile group whose attributes include; open-mindedness, entrepreneurial, social and fun loving. They are currently looking for an IT Technician.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Manage & support software solutions.
  • Document all support requests and resolve incidents in a timely manner.
  • Manage network infrastructure.
  • Manage servers- performance and security checks.
  • Manage computers, laptops and mobiles.
  • Manage all system back-ups and maintain protocols.
  • Liaise with ICT infrastructure solutions vendors.
  • Ensure uptime in linking branches through cyberoam.
  • Understand various software in use, business and departmental processes.
  • Support and train users on various software.
  • Meet operational objectives and submit reports.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Experience managing an ERP System; Office 365 and SharePoint.
  • Experience in managing IT infrastructure and data connectivity.
  • Problem-solving ability and exemplary planning skills.
  • Team player, proactive, service oriented and trustworthy.
  • Up-to-date with advancements in office gadgets and applications.
