Guest Relations Supervisor


Our client is a family owned luxury safari camp that has guided safaris with understated elegance and in the timeless style of our ancestors for the past 90 years. The camp is in the business of making lifelong memories for guests, providing just the right mix of adventure, adrenaline and comfort. They are currently looking for a Guest Relations Supervisor to work in their Mara Camp.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Answer phone calls and relay messages to relevant staff.
  • Produce welcome and thank you letters for guests.
  • Combine sales records (bar, camp shop, spa) and ensure they are reconciled before guest departures.
  • Process card payments and ensure cash received is secured.
  • Print menus and ensure their availability throughout.
  • Produce timely and accurate ETR receipts as well as sales reports.
  • Order stationery, maintain inventory and stock take.
  • Collect and input all guest feedback and information on to database.
  • Guest management duties – liaison, working with guides etc.
  • Secretarial duties – minute taking and submitting to relevant departments.
  • Assist with daily and monthly rooms, meals planning and vehicle usage.
  • Deal with suppliers/vendors as per the company policies/ regulations.
  • Human resource duties.

Qualifications:

  •  Relevant undergraduate degree and 3 years’ working experience.
  • Excellent organizational, multicultural and communication skills.
  • Detail oriented, team player and a great personality.
  • Past experience in dealing with suppliers.
  • Experience in the hospitality/safari business is an added advantage.
  • Preferably a lady.
