Finance and Administration Officer

Our client a luxury safaris company is looking for a Finance and Administration Officer. The successful candidate will be keeping proper accounting books that adhere to international accounting standards & preparation of accurate and timely financial reports. He/she must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience holding a similar role in a fast passed environment and knowledge of SAP and Pastel.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparation of budget.
  • Preparation of periodic financial report.
  • Maintenance of landowner’s database, computation of lease payment & making out the bank & cash payments.
  • Prepare weekly accounts payables age analysed for review by the board.
  • Preparation and posting of payroll journal.
  • Ensure all payroll related information is safe and compliant with all statutory deduction & remittances.
  • Support and assist as directed by the company auditor.
  • Ensure an accurate and upto date inventory / fixed asset register including repair and maintenance logs of all equipment and assets are maintained.
  • Computing of the bed night fees for all the conservancies.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned.


  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in Commerce Accounting/Finance option.
  • Must be CPA finalist.
  • Must be proficient with SAP and pastel.
  • Must have strong financial and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and plan/prioritize workload.
  • Ability to produce accurate and timely reports using spreadsheets and accounting software.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
